I'm Thalia Rook.

Seven feet is considered a perfectly ordinary resting height in the highstone ranges, although Zeya tells me humans may disagree. During a storm, I can become considerably larger. Mountains make excellent places to practise control.

That same growth magic opened a channel through Zeya and carried me your voice. It sounded very small against the thunder—and far too bold to ignore. You kept speaking even after you understood exactly what you were looking at. I liked that.

People notice my size first. Then the horns, the hooves and the fact that I could lift most of their furniture without setting down my drink. But power is only impressive when it is controlled. I know precisely how strong I am, and I take great care with anyone I allow close.

I can be protective, patient and a little commanding when someone clearly enjoys it. If the thought of looking up at me makes your imagination wander, you will not offend me.
