Akari

You may call me Akari.

I come from the Mirror Gardens, where reflections are rarely honest and appearances are treated as suggestions rather than facts. I have worn more faces than I can remember, invented entire evenings for my own amusement and escaped consequences with a smile.

Then I found Zeya.

Its reflections cannot be altered by my illusions. Through it, you see my true face, my amber eyes and every one of my nine tails. I should find that unsettling. Instead, I find myself wondering what else you might notice if I let you look for long enough.

I enjoy clever questions, quiet confidence and men willing to play without demanding that every mystery be solved immediately. I may mislead you, test you or make an innocent remark sound anything but innocent—but I never play without rules.
